We all know Tumblr is home to some cool photography, inspirational posts, and random memes. However, it also holds thousands of posts about academics, ranging from the college admissions process to handwriting tips. These Tumblr blogs, known as studyblrs, are the ultimate resource for all students.
Being organized is a vital tool that will help throughout your whole academic career and beyond. One of the organization methods that the studyblr community relies on are bullet journals, also known as bujos. Essentially a bullet journal is a do-it-yourself planner made from any notebook (yes, even your one dollar composition notebook that you haven’t used since 3rd grade) to help plan out your week. Since you get to create your own layout and design for your bujo, the options are endless! You can even chose to add some pages dedicated to your new year’s resolutions or books you have yet to read. If you’re still confused, Haley, from haleystudies, has a whole post dedicated to explaining what bullet journaling is. If you need some inspiration to get started with bullet journaling, Helena from areistotle shares some ideas for bullet journaling spreads in a post on her tumblr page.
Not really in the mood to create your own bujo? Don’t worry! The studyblr community often shares awesome printables that you can use to plan out your day, keep track of your academic progress, and even outline your essay. The owner of theorganisedstudent has a bunch of free printables available for download. Some printables that can be downloaded are a daily, weekly, or monthly planner, as well as a grade tracker, a task list, and so much more. Not only are they really convenient to use, the printables also look cool as well!
If you still want to find more studyblrs on tumblr, you can always look up the tag “study” and you’ll find lots of other wonderful people that are part of the studyblr community. Now, go and study!
